Caprica: Original Television Soundtrack in April!
(February 5, 2013 – Burbank, CA) La-La Land Records announces the release of two new soundtracks Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome on March 12th and Caprica: Original Television Soundtrack in April. Bear McCreary (The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica) composed the music for both series.
“In scoring the Battlestar Galactica prequels Caprica and Blood & Chrome, I returned to the unique combination of world and orchestral sounds that defined my previous score,” McCreary described. “But, both prequels had their own distinct approach. Caprica was interlaced with delicate chamber orchestra textures, solo harp and other-worldly source songs. Blood & Chrome is energized by heavy distorted-synthesizers and searing electric guitar performances. Listeners will hear, however, that all three series have a common musical DNA.”
“The Caprica series soundtrack was made possible by the tireless enthusiasm of the series’ passionate fans,” said McCreary. “After countless Tweets, Facebook posts, emails, questions and rants, fans made it clear they wanted to experience this music in album format. I am thrilled to collaborate once again with La-La Land Records to release more music from the Battlestar Galactica universe.”
The creepy tag Syfy tossed us says “Pretty girls learn the ugly truth about their sorority house”, and they were right. I certainly wouldn’t want to live in this house.
Husbands is heading to Paley! As the first web series ever to have a panel there I am extremely excited and can’t wait to see what they have for us! To purchase tickets for the event, head to PaleyCenter.org.

Come join the celebration as Husbands becomes the first online sitcom to be hosted by The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills. The series, praised by no less than the New Yorker and the Atlantic, follows a young same-sex couple as they make the sort of newlywed mistakes that used to be available only to one man and one woman. The comedy was created by Once Upon a Time, Battlestar Galactica, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer writer Jane Espenson and actor and writer Brad Bell (Pop-Up Video). It has attracted a fervent and well-deserved fan following, and high-profile guest stars including Joss Whedon, Tricia Helfer, Felicia Day, Amber Benson, and Sasha Roiz amongst others. The acclaimed series launches its second season August 15 on LoveHusbands.com, and in advance of that, the Paley Center welcomes the executive producers and cast members Sean Hemeon and Alessandra Toressani for a preview screening followed by what promises to be a lively look behind the scenes of a show at the forefront of the web revolution.
